KEATON SIMONS: LA's Favorite Son Returns!

The LA Times said it best when they described Keaton Simons by saying, "an old soul in a young man's voice." The native Californian singer-songwriter has been a staple on the weat coast music scene for the better part of 5 years. He's played with such widespread artists as Ben Harper, Gnarls Barkley, Maroon 5 and Anna Nalick. After a critically acclaimed EP on Maverick Records, Keaton went out on the road and made a name for himself overseas.

Simons also made his rounds on the late night talk show circuit appearing on Jay Leno, Carson Daly and Craig Ferguson. He got to play a young Bob Dylan on the NBC show "American Dreams." With momentum building, Keaton reavaluated his situation and decided he wanted more control of his career. He was approached by industry veteran, Sandy Roberton about possibly getting Simons to release some music on his newly minted label, Beverly Martel Music. A deal was quickly struck and the musician entered the studio soon after with producer Noah Shain. The resulting BLINK EP is a collection of songs that would appeal to fans of John Mayer, Dave Matthews and Counting Crows.

Keaton's BLINK EP will be out on iTunes on October 24.

He'll be playing THE HOTEL CAFE on October 25 to celebrate the record's release.

Bloggers from Perth to Brooklyn have been raving about Australia's The Silents lately! With a sound that can be compared to psych-rock greats like The Creation and "Rubber Soul" era Beatles, the four piece have been causing a stir with their high energy live shows. The band just finished a Euro tour with The Vines and are now signed to Beverly Martel Music in the U.S.

Rock & Soul From Australia's MICHAEL JOHNS on iTunes today!

Australia's Michael Johns finally releases his debut solo album through Beverly Martel Music today! The sessions were produced by Dave Cobb (Shooter Jennings, The Strays) at Hollywood Sound this past summer. Some of you might remember Michael from his days fronting Maverick Records recording artists, The Rising. The album's 12 songs explore the vintage sounds of late 60's Motown and late 70's FM rock.

THE TENDER BOX w/ the Goo Goo Dolls in the UK

The Tender Box are currently in the UK supporting the Goo Goo Dolls on their sold-out fall tour. The Los Angeles combo were handpicked by the veteran rockers to open the tour after drummer, Mike Malinin, heard their "The Score" album and fell in love with the band!

Beverly Martel Music/Killingsworth Records artists, Madisonprep have released their debut album, FLAMMABLE IN 5TH GEAR, on iTunes today! The Long Island band has been compared to the likes of Taking Back Sunday and Cartel. The album was recorded by up and coming producer, Tomas Constanza this summer.

After spending the better part of two years in earning a rabid legion of fans through their incendiary live show, the Rock N Roll Soldiers are FINALLY set to release their debut album! 'So Many Musicians Left To Kill" is well worth the wait! The 15 cut album is chockfull of nasty yet memorable hooks, driving guitar anthems and the kind of lyrics that beg to be screamed along to! Radio is being serviced with the song "Leave This Place" so keep an eye, or ear, for that in late August.

The album will be in stores in the fall but it will be available first on iTunes on August 22nd.

Beverly Martel Music is proud to bring you the album cover for Brent Cobb's 'No Place Left To Leave'

The album was recorded at Hollywood Sound Studios with red hot producer Dave Cobb (Shooter Jennings, R-N-R Soldiers) behind the boards. Shooter Jennings and his band, The 357s, play all over the record. The producer had played him some of Brent's demos and the outlaw country rocker became an instant fan! Brent hails from a little town in Georgia called Americus. His influences include Steve Earle, Dwight Yoakam and Willie Nelson. His debut single, "Dirt Road In Georgia" is available now on iTunes.

Look for NO PLACE LEFT TO LEAVE in stores this fall.

Acclaimed singer/songwriter Joe Firstman's brand new release, LIVE FROM THE SANDBOX, is now available on Itunes! The EP was captured live by famed producer Rick Parker (BRMC, Sugarcult) and features 5 brand new songs plus a reworking of fan favorite "Can't Stop Lovin' You."
